HOW TO GET TO GUANAJUAT?
You can get to Guanajuato by direct, non-stop plane from Mexico City, Cancun, Monterrey, and Tijuana. Landing at the Guanajuato International Airport, also called Del Bajío International Airport, located in the municipality of Silao. From here you can go to your final destination by taxi, public transport or you can rent a car to get around quickly and comfortably.
The airport is international, so the flights come from Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Chicago, in the United States.
If you want to get to Guanajuato from another point in Mexico or the world, you must arrive at the Mexico City International Airport or one of the cities mentioned above in order to connect with a flight to the Guanajuato airport.
HOW TO GET TO GUANAJUATO BY BUS?
It is possible to get to Guanajuato by bus from Mexico City leaving from the different terminals in Mexico City, such as Terminal de Autobuses del Norte. The ETN and Primera Plus lines offer frequent departures to the city of Guanajuato.
The Guanajuato Bus Station is of great importance for the city and the central area of Mexico, because Guanajuato has become one of the favorite destinations for tourists, in addition to representing a student center.
This terminal is also known as Central de Autobuses Guanajuato. It is located a few minutes from downtown and offers service from 5:00 to 12:00. It has different runs to other municipalities and Magical Towns of Guanajuato, as well as national departures in different states of Mexico.
The Guanajuato Bus Station is located at Kilometer 7 of the Silao Highway and has the necessary services that meet the needs of all users.
